Protein-Packed Breakfast

Hello friends! I can’t believe it’s already Monday again! This is a great week as my mom, dad, and myself are leaving for Arizona on Friday to visit Amanda and Kevin and enjoy sunshine and relaxation…cannot wait!

Things are quite busy around here with work and preparing for the trip but I want to share a healthy breakfast I have been enjoying lately. This egg white oatmeal keeps me full for hours and is full of protein. Another plus, it only takes minutes to make! Without further ado…

Egg-White Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 5-minute oats
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup egg whites

 

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients together
  2. Microwave in one-minute intervals for three minutes total, fluffing with a fork after every minute
  3. Top with desired toppings such as fruit, nuts/nut butter, chia seeds  (I have been enjoying peanut butter and a banana) 

  

Easy right? I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I do! It is perfect to eat a couple hours before or after a workout. Have a great week! I am hoping Friday comes quickly!
