Christmas Cheer

This holiday season has been full of holiday festivities, family and friends, and of course yummy food and drinks. It was great to be able to spend quality time with those who are most important to me. I hope everyone else had a very Merry Christmas as well! It certainly is the most wonderful time of the year. Here are some of the highlights from the past couple weeks.

I was able to visit my best friend, Alyssa, in Grand Rapids last week for a couple nights. We had plenty of sangria and quality time together (and of course did some shopping).

On the 23rd, Nick and I celebrated Christmas with his family. We made chicken parmesan (our speciality) for them before opening gifts. It is always nice to spend time with his family!

And of course, one of the best parts of this Christmas was my sister and Kevin coming home! We continued our traditions and went to church and dinner on Christmas Eve and opened gifts together Christmas morning. Santa spoiled is again this year! My family and Kevin’s family are going to dinner tonight before they have to head back to Arizona. Time when they are home goes by too quickly, but it is always great to have them home (although they were a little chilly here compared to AZ).

I’m looking forward to another great year in 2016 and hopefully a Sparty victory on New Year’s Eve! Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
